Gorgeous Antique Religious Illustrations

So in my wanderings today, I came across this old book with the cover ripped to shreds and the binding falling apart.  To my suprise, when I looked inside, chalk full of visual goodness!  It seems this book was published in 1903 and was called "Bible Heroes for Boys and Girls".  It was full of stunning illustrations from popular bible stories.  Some of them seem a bit disturbing and intense to be in a children's book, but to each their own.  My thought was, "wouldn't these be great pieces to add to a collage project'", so I snatched the mangled book up and dissected it at home.  I listed a bunch of the images for sale on my store https://www.scrapitsideways.etsy.com/ if anyone can use these beauties in their projects.  More pics from this gorgeous book to come!

Here's to New Beginnings!

Well, here I am attempting to write my first blog entry.  I'm not really sure what to say other than welcome (if anyone is even reading this).  I like to craft and i've always liked to write, so maybe this little blog and I can become close friends.  I'm currently trying to start up a small business, recover from some health issues and not lose my mind spendig the enire day cooped up in the house with my dog and cat.  So here is to new beginnings! It seems just when you start to have things figured out, everything changes.
